I kept the game engaging and profitable by creating and managing weekly events with unique themes and rewards, encouraging players to log in daily. I also analyzed player data and feedback to identify areas for improvement and collaborated with the development team to implement updates, such as redesigning the tutorial system for higher player satisfaction and retention.

Objective

While conducting AB tests for the level road, I observed unusual deviations that occurred in tandem with changes to the background of the screen.

Solution

To determine the impact of background, I’ve prepared another test that set 1 specific background on the first 200 leveles ( estimated to around 1 week of play time )

The results had shown that specific backgrounds led to higher retention ( even though the repeatability was exactly the same in each group ). The most impacted KPI proved to be D4 retention that was enhanced by 35%
